RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENTASSURPLUS PROPERTY,ANDAUTHORIZESALE
OF SAME TO SUNNY COMMUNICATIONS, INC.
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,State statute and the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of be
declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS,the County has determined that certain equipment, described as six Spectra
UHF Radios and four Digital Spectra Astro UHF Radios, is no longer required for County use, and
WHEREAS,a memo from the Department of Paramedic Services recommends the sale
of the equipment for,and in consideration of,the sum of$1,600.00 to Sunny Communications, Inc.,
4955 Peoria Street North, Denver, Colorado, 80239, a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as surplus and approve
the sale of said equipment.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment be, and hereby is, declared surplus.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that sale of said equipment to Sunny
Communications, Inc. in the amount of$1,600.00, be, and hereby is, approved.
