RE: SW Chambers, LLC—Subdivision Vacation Application for Heit Property
Dear Planner:
Enclosed please find the Subdivision Vacation Application Package for SW Chambers, LLC's Heit
property. The 100-acre Heit property is comprised of lots 4, 5 and 6 of the Lupton Meadows
subdivision and is zoned A-Agriculture. Weld County recently approved Use by Special Review
1444 to enable the landowner to extract the aggregate from the property and construct a water
storage reservoir.
SW Chambers wishes to apply for a recorded exemption to reconfigure the existing lots so that the
water storage reservoir is on one 70-acre lot and the remainder of the property is included in
another lot. It is our understanding that we must first request that lots 4, 5 and 6 be vacated before
the County can approve the recorded exemption. We respectfully request that the vacation be
processed concurrently with the recorded exemption and that the vacation be conditioned on the
recorded exemption being approved by the Board.
