RESOLUTION
RE: GRANT MOBILE HOME REQUEST FOR TEMPORARY USE AS AN ACCESSORY
AS AN OFFICE OF MARTIN EXPLORATION IN AN AGRICULTURAL ZONE
DISTRICT ON A PARCEL OF LAND DESCRIBED AS PART OF THE
NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE
67 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M. , WELD COUNTY, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , Martin Exploration has applied to the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado for a permit to
place a mobile home on the following described real estate,
as a temporary use as an accessory as an office, and which is
to be occupied in an A-Agricultural Zone District, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, on the 26th day of August, 1981, considered the
request of Martin Exploration for a mobile home as a temporary
use as an accessory as an office on a parcel of land more
particularly described as follows:
Lot B, RE-421, part of the Southwest Quarter (SWn)
of the Northwest Quarter (NWn) of Section 5,
Township 1 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P .M. ,
Weld County, Colorado.
WHEREAS, the Department of Planning Services suggests that
that request should be conditional upon complying with the
requirements of the Weld County Health Department prior to
issuance of the building permit for the mobile home, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, having heard
the applicant, finds that said request should be granted, subject
to said condition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of
Martin Exploration for permission to place a mobile home as
a temporary use as an accessory as an office on the above-
described parcel of land be, and hereby is, granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Martin Exploration
comply with the requirements of the Weld County Health Depart-
ment before issuance of the building permit for the mobile Pt,to"� 3

COMMENTS :
The Weld County Health Department has indicated that a chemical toilet is not
acceptable. The requirement for a septic system; however, requires a domestic
water supply not contemplated in the application. The Department of Planning
Service' s staff suggests that the request should be conditional upon complying
with the requirements of the Weld County Health Department prior to issuance
of the building permit for the mobile home.

On May 6 , 1981 , Mark Smith, a production specialist ,
for Martin Exploration Management Corp . met with you
and Mr . Honn regarding permitting for our trailer at
5700 Weld County Road 15 . Perhaps this information
will clarify our request .
This location includes four (4) major operating
oil and gas wells . A complete list of the equipment
and placement are outlined on the attached survey .
This being one of our larger producing leases leads
us to request placement of the trailer on this location.
We have been searching for office space in the Dacono
area for about a year and the only thing that we found
available that came close to fitting our needs was a
house in the residential area of Firestone that would
cost us approximately $60 , 000 . 00 .
Since we currently have offices in Boulder and Ft .
Lupton this facility would not only serve the four (4)
Glens wells but other lower producing wells in that
immediate area.
This trailer would serve as a storage facility for
gauges , meters , engine parts and other small production
equipment as wells as a place to make phone calls from
and a limited amount of paper work. Since these purposes
are so vital to the proper operation of these local wells
we can avoid major problems that could now occur without

We have already gone to great expense toward this
goal as well as making this lease as attractive and
nuisance free as possible . We do not intend to use
this as a central office for the entire field. We
have the full cooperation of the town of Dacono and
since there currently exists other such facilities
in the Wattenberg field we request your full support
of this facility.
