RESOLUTION
RE: TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF WELD COUNTY ROAD 62 . 2 BETWEEN WELD
COUNTY ROADS 29 AND 31.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a petition to open Weld County Road 62. 2 between
Weld County Roads 29 and 31 has been presented to the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, research reveals that the abovementioned portion
of Weld County Road 62. 2 was requested to be temporarily closed,
however, no formal action to closed said road was ever taken.
The Department of Engineering Services has informed the Board
that said portion of Weld County Road 62. 2 is physically closed
at the present time and has been closed since approximately 1975,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that fur-
ther research is needed concerning the County' s cost. if said
road is to be opened and finds it to be in the best interests
of Weld County to temporarily close said portion of Weld County
Road 62 .2, except to local traffic, until research concerning
the road is completed.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Weld County Road 62 .2
between Weld County Roads 29 and 31 be, and hereby is, tempo-
rarily closed, except for local traffic, until research concerning
the opening of said road is completed and a decision is made to
vacate or to open the road.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 23rd day of
July, A.D. , 1980.
