RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE WELD COUNTY JAIL PHASE 3 EASEMENT VACATION AND DEDICATION
OF PLAT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Weld County Jail Phase 3 Easement
Vacation and Dedication of Plat for the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Purchasing Department,
commencing upon full execution, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said
Easement Vacation and Dedication Plat, and
WHEREAS,after review,the Board deems it advisable to approve said Easement Vacation
and Dedication Plat, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Weld County Jail Phase 3 Easement Vacation and Dedication of Plat
for the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, on behalf of the Purchasing Department be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said Easement Vacation and Dedication Plat.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 7th day of August, A.D., 2006.

Dear Joel,
Please find attached the following items for The Weld County North Jail Phase 3 Expansion:
• Two (2) revised vellum originals, sheet C4 of C12
• Two (2) revised vellum originals, sheet C9 of C12
We have received the City's comments dated July 25, 2006. Our answers to your e-mailed
comments are as follows:

Comment 1: The swale cross section detail was not revised as stated in the responses. It is still
labeled as 6.4'side and not 8'.
Response: The Grass Swale A-A detail on Sheet C4 had a detail dimension "D" for the flow
width and a dimension "E" for the freeboard width. The detail has been revised to add the total
of 8' (D--2E).

Comment 1: The encasement detail: pipe cross-section calls out restrainment and it's shown in
the cross section, too.
Response: The detail cross section has been revised,
Plat
Comment 1: The title was revised, but the revision is under the and after the title. I was wanting
the title to be "Weld County Jail Phase 3 Easement Vacation and Dedication Plat"so that when
its filed it will be filed under "W'and not "E"this will help if future retrieval and research.
Response: The plat has been revised.

Response: The plat has been sent to the County for signature.
Comment 3: Please add to the title of the plat 'Weld County Jail Phase 3"for easier referencing
and retrieval in the future.
Response: The plat has been revised.
