HomeMy WebLinkAbout800641.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ESTABLISHMENT OF PROCESSING FEES FOR PETITIONS SUBMITTED PURSUANT TO THE SPECIAL DISTRICT CONTROL ACT 32-1-201, ET SEQ. , CRS 1973 . WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Special District Control Act requires the Board of County Commissioners to conduct hearings concerning petitions under the Special District Control Act, and WHEREAS, Section 32-1-204 (2) provides that the Board of County Commissioners shall set a processing fee not to exceed $200. 00 to cover costs relating to said hearings, and WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the sum of $200. 00 is a reasonable charge to cover the costs of publication, tran- scription of testimony and County staff time for reviewing said petitions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the processing fee of $200. 00 for petitions submitted under the Special District Control Act be, and hereby is, established.
