Gentlemen: We, the undersigned, citizens of said county and free- holders constituting more than two-thirds of the free-holders own- ing land adjoining that portion of the road hereinafter described and petitiod. to be vacated,represent that 4Itwpuld be for the best interests of the adjacent property owners aid the public that a certain public highway lying south of "16,adjacent to,and lead- ing ,into t city of Greeley,Colorado, bo vacated for the fol- lowiiigdi s tance„t o-wit: Beginning on public highway number.e2. /. .as now laid out and established on the section line between sections 17 and l8, township 5,north range 65 west, at a point 30 feet south of the norther corner of said section 17,on the south line of the pub- lic highway intersecting said section line at said point; thence south 340.6 feet ; said road for said distance sought to be vacs.- ted being 30 feet wide on each side of said section line. That Harvey E.Witwer and Bertha S.Witwer are the owners of A block A andAblock 22 adjacent to said road on the east and also are tr' owners of a port on of block 21,Arlington Heights,which lands they desire to plat and make the same a portion of the city of Greeley,Colorado,and by said plat will establish and dedicate X3 M • ra a public highway through their said lands being an extension of eleventh avenue of the city of Greeley, with a cross street leading to said public highway aforesaid at the terminus of that part of said road sought to be vacated as aforesaid,whichaaid streets laid out and dedicated by them will mak roper and better con- nection wi ` said highway and said cit now exists; that said eleventh so laid and to be extended 'lies 100 feet east of tie portion of said highway sought to be vacated; that J.M.B.Petrikifl owns the next land adjacent to said highway on irei■S south of said Witwers; that Jams.L.Armstrong is the owner of the land on the west of said portion of said road sought to be vacated. That his said premises have a road on the north line of said sec- tion 115 and by means of said eleventh avenue extension and con- nection with said road between sections 17 and 18 will continue to have an outlet on the east of his said land.
