HomeMy WebLinkAbout20061193.tiff NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there was filed in the District Court in and for the County of Weld and State of Colorado, on the 28th day of March, 2006, a Petition entitled "In Re the Organization of Pioneer Regional Metropolitan District, County of Weld, State of Colorado," which Petition requests the organization of a metropolitan district, pursuant to the provisions of Section 32-1-301, et seq., C.R.S. Notice is further given that a Service Plan for the proposed District and a Resolution of the Weld County Board of County Commissioners, approving the Service Plan were also filed with the Court in this matter as required by law. Said documents are now on file at the office of the Clerk of the District Court of Weld County, in Greeley, Colorado, and are available for public inspection. The purposes of the District are as follows: 1. Water improvements; 2. Sanitation improvements; 3. Street improvements; 4. Safety protection improvements; 5. Parks and recreational improvements; 6. Transportation improvements; 7. Television relay and translation improvements; 8. Mosquito control improvements; and 9. Fire protection improvements. The proposed District encompasses approximately 1 acre, which is generally located north of 1-76 at the intersection of CR22 and CR 49. The legal description of the proposed District is attached hereto as Exhibit A. NOTICE IS GIVEN that any time after the filing of the Petition for Organization of the proposed District in the District Court for the County of Weld, but no later than ten (10) days before the day fixed for the hearing thereon, the owner of any real property within the proposed District may file a petition with the Court stating reasons why said property should not be included in the proposed District and requesting that said real property be excluded therefrom. Such petition shall be duly verified and shall describe the property sought to be excluded.
