RE: APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, several vacancies currently exist on the Board of
Adjustment, and
WHEREAS, two of the vacancies exist due to the resignations
of Joe Garcia, District 4; and Charles Erickson, At-Large, and
WHEREAS, the following people have been recommended to fill
the unexpired terms of the above named individuals:
Members Term to Expire
District 4 : Shirley Rein December 31 , 1984
At-Large: Mark Weston December 31 , 1984
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that the following people
be reappointed to serve on the Board of Adjustment:
Members Term to Expire
District 3 : Rhonda Giles December 31 , 1985
District 6 : Willis Piper December 31 , 1985
At-Large: Ruth McElrath December 31 , 1985
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to appoint
and reappoint the above mentioned people as members to the Board
of Adjustment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the above mentioned
people be, and hereby are, appointed and reappointed as members
to the Board of Adjustment for the terms to expire as herein stated.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 9th day of
February, A.D. , 1983 .

Please let this letter serve as my formal resignation from the Weld County
Board of Adjustments. My resignation is necessiated by the fact that I
was appointed to the Weld County Housing Authority, serving as Chairman of
that Board.
I want to say thanks to everyone with whom I served with on this board. I
appreciated the independent thoughts each individual gave in their decisions,
and I encourage each one to continue in this fashion. I still have an
interest in this area and if I can be of help in any way in the future,
please call.
