RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING CHANGE OF ZONE, PZ #1110, FROM THE R-1
(LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) ZONE DISTRICT TO PUD (PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT)ZONE DISTRICT TO ALLOW FOR STORAGE OF LANDSCAPING
EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS, ALONG WITH USES BY RIGHT IN THE A
(AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - CHARLES AND TERESA HELLMER
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 9th day of
August,2006,at the hour of 10:00 a.m. in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing the
application of Charles and Teresa Hellmer, 13775 Weld County Road 3, Longmont,Colorado 80504,
requesting Change of Zone, PZ#1110,from the R-1 (Low Density Residential)Zone District to the
PUD(Planned Unit Development)Zone Districtto allow for storage of landscaping equipment and
materials, along with Uses by Right in the A(Agricultural)Zone District,for a parcel of land located
on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Lot A of Recorded Exemption#3492;being part of the
E1/2 NE1/4 of Section 30, Township 3 North,
Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS,at said hearing the Board deemed it advisable to make a recommendation of
a Cease and Desist Order for operations occurring on the property, and to continue said matter at
the applicant's request.
WHEREAS,the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be
approved and the matter should be continued to September 20, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that the abovementioned matter be,and hereby is,continued to September 20,
2006, at 10:00 a.m.
