HomeMy WebLinkAbout810690.tiff RESOLUTION RE : APPROVE REPLAT OF LUPTON MEADOWS LAND COMPANY, A SUB- DIVISION OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, on the 4th day of November, 1981, a public meeting was held before the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado upon the application of Lupton Meadows Land Company for a replat of Lots 8, 9 , and 10, Lupton Meadows Land Company, a subdivision in Weld County, Colorado, more particularly described as follows: Lots 8, 9 , and 10, Lupton Meadows Land Company Division #3, located in part of the NE4, Section 24, T2N, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners heard the testimony and statements of those present, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied the request and the recommendations of the Weld County Planning Commission, and having been fully informed, is satisfied that the proposed replat of lots 8, 9 , and 10, Lupton Meadows Land Company conforms in all respects with the requirements of the Weld County Subdivision Regulations and finds that the approval of said replat would be in the best interest of Weld County. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that the replat of Lots 8, 9 , and 10, Lupton Meadows Land Company subdivision be, and hereby is, approved. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 4th day of November, A.D. , 1981. Lupton, CO September 9 , 1981 Department of Planning Services 915 10th Street Greeley, CO Gentlemen: The following information is being submitted as a letter of explanation detailing why the request for Replat application for Section 24 , TN. 2N, N.E. 1/4 , lots 8 , 9 , and 10 . I have lived here and farmed for the past nineteen years and plan to continue doing so , if circumstances permit , for this is my home and permanent address of record. However , for the past two years I have experienced an asmatic condi- tion which I am told is being agitated by environmental conditions , i .e . , vegetation, animal dander, and dust parti- cles . This may eventually require me to move elsewhere for my health. I do not want to sell my farm, but by the same token, I do not want to rent the improvements because of possible deterioration or expensive upkeep . By replating the farm as proposed, I will be able to keep the cultivated portion intact and sell the improvements , if it should become necessary for me to move . We also reviewed the South Platte River Special Flood Hazard Information Report for Weld County, Colorado (Corps. of Engineers, 1977) .
