RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF WILLIAM HUGHES TO THE BOARD OF RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Board of Retirement, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that William Hughes be appointed to said board as
the public member representative, to replace Robert Green, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint William Hughes to said board, with a
term to expire July 31, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that William Hughes be, and hereby is, appointed to the Board of Retirement,
with a term to expire July 31, 2010.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 31st day of July, A.D., 2006.
