Dear Commissioners ,
I would like to bring to your attention an article that appeared
in the Ag Journal ,January 27th, 2006.
Why is Weld County not listed as a county with a disaster
designation due to drought ? Our neighboring counties , Morgan
and Logan have been listed according to this press release.
I realize this particular article is pertaining to loans ,hut
if the county does not have a drought designation how will this
affect the agriculture community as far as other drought
programs?
Just thought I would ask. And thanks for asking the U.S . Forest
Service to hold off on their burning program. As dry as it
