RE: TEMPORARY APPOINTMENT OF DREW SCHELTINGA TO THE UNIFORM
BUILDING CODE BOARD OF APPEALS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Uniform
Building Code Board of Appeals, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Drew Scheltinga
be temporarily appointed to said Board, and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners desires to
appoint Drew Scheltinga to the Uniform Building Code Board
of Appeals.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Drew Scheltinga
be, and hereby is, appointed to the Uniform Building Code
Board of Appeals.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 16th
day of November, A.D. , 1981.

Subject: Special Zoning Board of Appeals Mooting - July 22nd, 9 a.m.
A Special Zoning Board of Appeals meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday,
July 22, 1981 at 9:oo a.m. in the City Manager's conference room, located
on the first floor of the Civic Center Complex.
The Weld County Commissioners are requesting a side yard variance to the property
located at 1518 Hospital Road to allow a 15' sideyard in lieu of the required
Michael O. Chan is requesting a variance as it applies to his property located
at 1330 8th Avenue, to allow a 0 clearance side yard on the south side of
his building in lieu of the required 25' . Mr. Chan is also requesting a
variance of 2'6" for the front yard setback on the west side, in lieu of the
required 25' and to encroach 3' into the required 5' setback for parking space.

ext. 301 as soon as possible.
