Box 785, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado, 80632, hereinafter referred to as "County," and the Town of Severance, Colorado, whose address is, P.O. Box 122, Severance, CO 80546, hereinafter referred to as Town WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, on October 1, 2004, the parties hereto enter into a Law Enforcement Service Agreement, wherein"County" contracted to provide various law enforcement services to the "Town"of Severance through it Sheriff's Office and, WHEREAS, per the current Schedule D to said Law Enforcement Service Agreement sets the Hourly rate per deputy assigned to 35.00 dollars per hour for both direct and indirect billing. WHEREAS, the parties hereto now desire to amend said Schedule D to reset said Hourly rate to 47.00 dollars per hour as stated in the attached "SCHEDULE D", for both direct and indirect billing. NOW, THEREFORE in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained herein and in the original Law Enforcement Services Agreement between parties dated October 1, 2004, the parties hereto agree to amend said Law Enforcement Service Agreement as follows 1. The attached Schedule D shall be substituted for the current schedule D to said Law Enforcement Service Agreement, with the Hourly rate of 47.00 dollars per hour to become effective January 1st, 2007 2. All other provisions set forth in said Law Enforcement Services Agreement Shall remain in full force and affect, except as may be modified in the attached Schedule D. As you are well aware there will be a rate change starting at the beginning of the year. We are asking that you please make a determination as to the total amount that you will be willing to pay for the next fiscal year. Once you have made that determination, we would request that you enter that amount into the contract provided and return that to the Weld County Sheriffs Office as soon as it is practical, but no later than the 1st, of November 2006.
