RE: APPOINTMENT OF LARRY STOTTS TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
GILCREST SANITATION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 32-1-849 (2) , the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, is empowered to
fill vacancies of special districts located within the county,
and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Board of
Directors of the Gilcrest Sanitation District, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Larry Stotts be
appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of the Gilcrest
Sanitation District, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to
appoint Larry Stotts to said Board of Directors .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Larry Stotts,
1111 Vine Street, Gilcrest, Colorado, be, and hereby is
appointed to the Board of Directors of the Gilcrest Sanitation
District.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 3rd
day of June, A.D. , 1981.

Re: Gilcrest Sanitation District
Dear Commissioners:
Pursuant to C.R.S. , 1973, 32-1-849, the Gilcrest Sanitation District
requests that you would fill by appointment a vacancy on the Board
of Directors of the Gilcrest Sanitation District, which vacancy
has existed for more than sixty days. The vacancy occurred on or
about February 16, 1981, and has not been filled because the Board
has been unable to find anyone willing to serve.
Recently, Mr. Larry Stotts of 1111 Vine Street in Gilcrest, Colorado,
agreed to serve on the Board of Directors of the Sanitation District.
Mr. Stotts is a qualified elector, having resided within the
District for more than thirty days and is qualified to be a member of
the Board of Directors of the Gilcrest Sanitation District. We
would, therefore, request that you adopt a resolution appointing
Mr. Stotts to the Board of Directors of the Gilcrest Sanitation
District.
