Dear Charles and Teresa Hellmer:
Your application for Change of Zone, PZ #1110, from the R-1 (Low Density Residential) Zone
District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) Zone District to Allow for Storage of Landscaping
Equipment and Materials, along with Uses Allowed by Right in the A (Agricultural) Zone District,
has been recommended unfavorably to the Board of County Commissioners by the Planning
Commission. The legal description of the property involved is shown as Lot A of Recorded
Exemption#3492; being part of the E1/2 NE1/4 of Section 30, Township 3 North, Range 68 West
of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado.
If you wish to be heard by the Board of County Commissioners, it will be necessary for you to
indicate your request by signing the bottom of this letter and returning it to this office. Regular
hearing procedures will then be followed.
In order to proceed as quickly as possible, we must receive your reply by June 30, 2006. If we are
not in receipt of your request by that date, the matter will be considered closed.

This is regarding the violations on 13775 County Road 3 - Landscape business storage.
I wanted to alert you that we are asking for a continuance for the hearing on August 9th
with the County Board. I have to be in Florida to clean out the family home. I will be out of
town for several weeks.
I have talked to Kim, left a message with Chris and spoken with Esther Gesick. Kim asked us
after the our zoning hearing why we didn't do other options. Well, they were never offered.
My husband and I are meeting with Kim and Chris next week to explore the options that
Chris didn't tell us about.
Chris will ask for the continuance on August 9th and Esther will put us on the agenda for the
9/20 meeting, but that will be dependant on our meeting with Kim and Chris. I will keep you
notified on what our next step will be.
I really hope this makes sense. If not, please don't hesitate to call 303-772-1992.
