HomeMy WebLinkAbout830140.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS AT 51ST AVENUE AT THE INTERSECTION OF 51ST AVENUE AND 26TH STREET WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has received a request to install stop signs at 51st Avenue at the intersection of 51st Avenue and 26th Street, making this intersection a 4-way stop, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, after review, has determined that said traffic devices are necessary for the protection of the general public at said intersection. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado the the Department of Engi- neering be, and hereby is, directed to install stop signs at 51st Avenue at the intersection of 51st Avenue and 26th Street, thereby making said intersection a 4-way stop for the safety of the general public, and that said signs must conform to the State manual and specifications.
