RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR COMMISSIONER LEONARD L. ROE TO REPRESENT
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AT THE ANNUAL MEETING OF
THE LUPTON MEADOWS DITCH COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has received
notice of the annual meeting of the stockholders of The Lupton
Meadows Ditch Company to be held on Friday, December 12, 1980,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advis-
able to authorize Commissioner Leonard L. Roe to represent the
Board of County Commissioners at said meeting, and
WHEREAS, in the event Commissioner Roe is not able to attend
said meeting, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advis-
able to authorize Commissioner Norman Carlson to represent the
Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Commissioner Leonard L.
Roe be, and hereby is, authorized to represent the Board at the
annual meeting of The Lupton Meadows Ditch Company, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
that Commissioner Norman Carlson is hereby authorized to repre-
sent the Board at said meeting in the event Commissioner Roe is
unable to attend.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of
November, A.D. , 1980.
