Referring to quotes in the Times-Call by one of your members; yes, we do have an agenda: to insure that growth proceeds in a reasonable manner under the guidance of local municipalities. He is further quoted as saying cities have the opportunity to annex. As far as I know the CRS still requires the landowner to petition for annexation, which is a city's only "opportunity to annex". In the case of Pioneer, as far as I know, no city was petitioned to annex. Why bother having planning staff, a planning commission and consultants at taxpayers' expense, if you are not going to heed their recommendations. As far as an agenda is concerned, you obviously have an agenda which is not clear at this point given the poor rationales you have put forth, so far, for your actions. You are sewing the seeds and the Weld County residents will, unfortunately, reap the whirlwind. John Folsom Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam?Yahoo!
