RE: APPROVE AGREEMENT FOR LIVING SNOWFENCE AND WILDLIFE HABITAT
AND AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, an Agreement for a Living Snowfence and Wildlife
Habitat has been presented to the Board of County Commissioners
for its review and consideration, and
WHEREAS , said Living Snowfence and Wildlife Habitat shall
be located in the S1 of Section 33, Township 7 North, Range 63
West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, containing approxi-
mately 6 . 5 acres, ..which is owned by Michael Guttersen, and
WHEREAS, the terms are as stated in the agreement, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference,
and
WHEREAS, after review and consideration, the Board deems
it advisable to approve said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Agreement for a
Living Snowfence and Wildlife Habitat, to be located on the here-
inabove described parcel owned by Michael Guttersen, be, and hereby
is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be,
and hereby is, authorized to sign said agreement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 22nd day of
August, A.D. , 1984 .

WORKING AGREEMENT
FOR
LIVING SNOWFENCE AND WILDLIFE HABITAT
Landowner Agrees To:
1. Provide a strip of land 240 ft. wide and 1300 ft. long (approx. 6.5 ac.)
as shown on tree planting plan. „1,1i J
2. Accept maintenance responsibility for the established planting and to
maintain planting for its intended lifespan.
Adjacent Property Owner Agrees To:
1. Prepare seed bed for planting.
2. Perform mechanical weed control for 3 years or until established.
3. Provide periodic water hauling during dry spells.
4. Provide maintenance for tree perimeter fence. This would be for repair
not replacement of fence.
State Forest Service Agrees To:
1. Provide 500 Caragana shrubs and 500 Eastern Red Cedar trees.
Weld County Commissioners Agree To:
1. Help plant trees.

3. Supply and help install perimeter fence.
4. Name a representative for subsequent work or problems with the site.
Division of Wildlife Agrees To:
1. Provide plastice materials for mulch.
West Greeley Soil Conservation District Agrees To:
1. Provide 1,000 fertilizer tablets.
2. Provide technical assistance for plantin , planning and periodic inspection.
