RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS REGARDING VIOLATION VI#0600286
AGAINST CHARLES JOHNSON FOR VIOLATION OF THE WELD COUNTY CODE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Charles Johnson, VI #0600286, is allegedly in violation of the Weld County
Code, and
WHEREAS, despite efforts by the Planning staff to resolve said matter, the violation has
not been corrected, and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of November, 2006, a public hearing was held before the
Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of hearing testimony relating to said violation, and
WHEREAS, Charles Johnson, property owner, was present at said hearing, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to continue said matter until December 12, 2006,
to allow adequate time for the property owner to meet with staff and review the issues and to
discuss in detail what is needed to clear up these violations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that VI#0600286 be, and hereby is, continued until December 12,2006,to allow
adequate time for the property owner to meet with the Department of Planning Services to review
all issues, and to determine what is needed to bring the subject property into compliance.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 14th day of November, A.D., 2006.
