HomeMy WebLinkAbout20062455 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE EXCLUSIVE SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT AND TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT DEED FOR NORTH GREELEY SEWER PIPELINE PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - CITY OF GREELEY WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS,the Board has been presented with an Exclusive Sanitary Sewer Easement and a Temporary Construction Easement Deed for the North Greeley Sewer Pipeline Project, between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and the City of Greeley, 1000 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631, commencing upon full execution of said easement and deed, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said easement and deed, and WHEREAS,after review,the Board deems it advisable to approve said easement and deed, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Exclusive Sanitary Sewer Easement and the Temporary Construction Easement Deed for the North Greeley Sewer Pipeline Project, between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,and the City of Greeley be, and hereby is, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to sign said easement and deed. The proposed North Greeley Sewer trunk line is a 36 inch diameter pipeline from the lift station at 25th avenue and 500 feet south of"O" street to 11th avenue and 1000 feet north of "H" street. The purpose of the North Greeley Sewer line is to eliminate the need for the outdated lift station at the Spanish Colony Housing complex; provide adequate sewer service for the new Jail complex and future residential and commercial developments north of"O" street. The proposed alignment basically follows the Northern property boundary of the adjacent Hiner property east and then southeast along Weld County's shops road. At this time, the easement agreements, compensation offer, and property description and exhibit map have now been finalized in connection with the need to acquire the property interests referenced above to accommodate this project.
