Dear,Sir or Madam:
My name is Paul Schomber and live at 8700 WCR 31. I do not wish for Pedro
Sanucedo's land to be rezoned for industrial use so that he can store tanks and supplies
which may or may nor be empty of corrosive and or contaminating chemicals. At this
time I have animals on my land that could be endangered by any accident that might
occur. The other reasons that I do not wish for this to occur are:
• IT will Change the character of my neighborhood from rural to industrial
• IT will decrease the value of my property
• No migrating visual amenities have been planed to correct the visual impact of his
proposed development
• No precautions have been taken to mitigate contamination of my land or my water
supply in case of accidents
• No E.I.R.study has been done that shows how the infrastructure I.E.roads,
sewage, and waste is going to impact my property
• And no set back system been developed to insure this neighborhood's growth
which would include this type of industrial development.
lyC,

Dear Ms.Hatch:
This letter is to protest the granting of the above referenced Case Number. We feel that
this would be an inappropriate use of the property based on the residential neighbors.
Sincerely,

To Whom it May Concern:
This letter is in response to case number USR-1568 and the request or Pedro Saucedo for a site specific
development plan and special review permit fora use by right,an accessory use,or a use by special
review in the commercial or industrial zone district(an office and storage building for materials used by
oil and gas operations)in the A(Agricultural)zone district.
Our property is immediately north and west and slightly down the slope of the above described parcel.
My wife and I have the following concerns about Mr. Saucedo's request
The reason we purchased our property was the fact it was surrounded by property that was zoned
agicultural. We feel any commercial or industrial considerations would completely change the
atmosphere of the neighborhood. We are also concerned one Special Request Permit being granted
would open the door for future requests and allowances for additional commercial and industrial
properties.
We feel that Mr.Saucedo's"oil and gas operations"would dramatically increase traffic, noise, and Amst
pollution and bo an increased safety risk to our child and future children.
We are concerned about residual oil contamination of both the ground and water leaching onto our
property due to the sloping terrain.
We are also very concerned about the saleability and value of our property should it Irtnmr•surrounded
by commercial and industrial lots
As per our conversation on August 1,2006 with Jacqueline Hatch,it is ors understanding that the
Public Works Department already has a contingency plan in place requiring those with special review
permits to adhere to standards set forth in their guidelines. We understand this includes application of
mag-chloride to the road for dust control, privacy fencing and adherence to set business hours among
many other requirements.
It is also our understanding the Public Works document will be made available to all parties involved in
this herring on August 13,which is Sunday, only two days before our Tuesday,August 15t hearing for
our=Vial/. WtlLit teary be available err-Stsoday?
Wet wash to welcmae Mr.Seacedo and-hisf tily4ethe fteigbbothaod_ Welrope.thcy will enjoy their
new home and their peaceful surroundings.
We ask for those of you on the Planning Services Committee to give your consideration of our concerns
and ask that you give a great deal of thought to your decision before granting this permit
Professionally yours,
J ,SusPaigo Point
