RESOLUTION
RE: DIRECTING CERTIFICATION OF GENERAL HIGHWAY MAPS OF WELD COUNTY
AS OF JANUARY 1, 1982 AND AUTHORIZATION FOR THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS TO CERTIFY AS TO ACCURACY.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Hone Rule Charter, is vested with
the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Section 43-4-207(2) (b) , CRS 1973, as amended, provides for the
formula for the County allocation of the Highway Users Tax Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineer has prepared general highway maps of
Weld County, Colorado dated January 1, 1980 which correctly reflects the County
Road System as of January 1, 1982, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado
desires to certify the said general highway maps of Weld County, Colorado re-
flecting the County Road System effective January 1, 1982 to the Depailnent of
Highways, Division of Transportation Planning, Planning Support Branch, 4201
Fast Arkansas Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80222, as required by statute.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado that said Board sign the attached Certification showing
the general highway maps of Weld County, Colorado effective January 1, 1982.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 3rd day of May, A.D. , 1982.

The County of Weld certifies that the General Highway
Maps, revised January 1, 1980, plus the 1980 reported and approved
changes, plus 1981 changes as indicated on Appendix A, attached herewith,
are a complete and accurate accounting of the county road system as of
January 1, 1982.
The County of Weld also certifies that as of January 1,
1982, it has a total of 3439 . 3 miles of county roads eligible for
participation in the Highway Users Tax (HUT) Fund. This mileage consists
of 750.70 miles of primary roads and 26'8 8.6 miles of secondary
roads. In addition, the County has 542. 02 miles of roads not main-
tained in accordance with the statutes, which are not elibigle for partic-
ipation in the HUT Fund.
