RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF PUBLIC HEALTH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Board of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Stan Cass be reassigned as the District 2
representative, to replace William Weitzel; that Keith Riggs be appointed as the District 3
representative, to replace Denny Williams; that Frederick Hepner be appointed as the District 6
representative, to replace Charles Baum; and that Linda Kautz be reappointed as an At-Large
representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reassign Stan Cass as the District 2
representative, with a term to expire May 23, 2008; to appoint Keith Riggs as the District 3
representative, with a term to expire May 23, 2010; to appoint Frederick Hepner as the District 6
representative, with a term to expire May 23, 2009; and to reappoint Linda Kautz as the At-Large
representative, with a term to expire May 23, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Stan Cass be reassigned, that Keith Riggs and Frederick Hepner be
appointed, and that Linda Kautz be reappointed to the Board of Public Health,with terms to expire
May 23, 2008, May 23, 2010, May 23, 2009, and May 23, 2010, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 18th day of June, A.D., 2007.
