RE: APPROVE SELECTION OF US BANK AS THE WELD COUNTY BOND CUSTODIAN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Treasurer's Office has solicited bids for bond custodianship services from
banking institutions, and
WHEREAS, the low bidder for said services was US Bank, in the amount of $5,750.00
annually, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Treasurer and the Director of Finance and Administration
recommend that US Bank be selected as Weld's County's bond custodian, and that the Weld
County Treasurer be authorized to utilize US Bank as Weld County's bond custodian.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that US Bank be,and hereby is,selected to provide bank custodianship services
for Weld County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Weld County Treasurer be,and hereby
is, authorized to utilize US Bank as Weld County's bond custodian.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 12th day of December, A.D., 2007.
