This practice narrows the roads, and in some places it is almost

impossible to pass an oncoming vehicle. A very dangerous situation develops
when the roads are muddy, as they tend to become slippery from the dirt dug
out of the barrow pit.
Because of the tight budget we feel the monies would be better spent
on graveling and maintaining the surface of the road.
We feel the hiring of an out-of-state engineer has been the contributing
factor in the deterioration of our roads. Re: The fiasco of the road graders.
Surely we have qualified people in our area for this job. Someone who knows
Colorado weather and understands the needs of the rural areas.
We are for ending this newly acquired profession of "ditch digging".
