Dear Mr. Hoecher:
In reference to Weld County accepting streets in Pinnacle Park
First, Second, and Third Filings for full maintenance, an inspection
was made by the Engineering Department and the following deficiencies
were noted:
1. Settling over North Weld County Water District water lines
has occurred. Gravel should be placed in these areas.
2. The cul-de-sac has not been maintained. This area needs
gravel , compaction, and shaping. Ditches need cleaning and
reshaping to insure proper drainage and to discourage uncontrolled
field entrances.
3. Three (3) drive culverts have been improperly placed. They
are too high and are without adequate cover. The borrow ditches
are too shallow and should be built according to the approved
set of construction drawings.
4. One drive has been constructed with no culvert.
5. The three (3) culverts under the road are too low in relation
to the drainage channel . The channel should be properly shaped
upstream and downstream. The road ditches must be tapered into
the drainage channel .
6. No street signs have been installed.
When the above deficiencies have been corrected, notify this office in
writting and another inspection will be made. If the streets are
satisfactory, the Board of County Commissioners will be so notified
and they will take the necessary action.
