RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF ED PHILLIPSEN TO THE COMMUNITY
CORRECTIONS BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Community Corrections Board, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Ed Phillipsen be appointed to said board as the
at-large representative, to replace James Fox, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Ed Phillipsen to said board,with a term
to expire August 1, 2010.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Ed Phillipsen be, and hereby is,appointed to the Community Corrections
Board, with a term to expire August 1, 2010.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 22nd day of August, A.D., 2007.
