HomeMy WebLinkAbout810549.tiff RESOLUTION RE: DISPOSITION OF WELD COUNTY PROPERTY HELD AS EVIDENCE BY THE WELD COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Sheriff of Weld County has informed the Board of County Commissioners, on January 15, 1981, that property purchased with Weld County General Fund monies is no longer required for evidence in connection with a criminal prosecution against Elmer "Bud" Reynolds, and WHEREAS, items on Exhibit "A" are computer hardware and software that, in accordance with the policy of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, should be assigned to the Joint Data Processing Center's control, designated as owned by Weld County for inventory purposes and utili- zation, and WHEREAS, the Director of Data Processing should assess whether any of the items on Exhibit "A" are useable in providing data processing services in Weld County and, after assessment, will report to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado whether any or all items should be retained for use or declared surplus by Weld County. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that all items discussed above and listed on Exhibit "A" are hereby transferred to the Joint Data Processing Center, designated as property owned wholly by Weld County, Colorado. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Data Processing Center report back to the Board of County Commissioners as to whether or not the items on Exhibit "A" can be put to use by Weld County in the providing of data processing services or should be declared surplus at the next county auction. One TRS 80 Mini Disc Drive, no Serial Number. 5. One Realistic Cassette Recorder, no Serial Number. 6. One Stand for TRS 80 Micro Computer, no Serial Number. 7. Associated materials including certain commercially prepared program tapes by Radio Shack of the following types: a. Editor Diagonal Line Assembler, Personal Finance, In Memory Information, Statistical Analysis, and a Level One Game Pack. 8. Other associated components are as follows: a. Eleven Mini Discs. b. 17 Cassettes (apparently blank) . c. One Cassette Storage Pack. d. One Level Two Basic Operation Manual. e. One Disc Operating Manual. f. One box containing miscellaneous pamphlets for preparation of Computer Game Programs. Hello
