BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO: t40 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested A with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and 0:3 L = WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has the power and authority under the Weld County Home Rule Charter and Article 28 of Title 30, CRS 1973, c to adopt zoning regulations for the unincorporated areas of the County of Weld, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, has u• ^ adopted Ordinance No. 89 with subsequent amendments, the Weld County Zoning Ordinance, establishing a comprehensive revision of the zoning regulations and c�= zoning maps for the unincorporated areas of the County of Weld, .:;;W = WHEREAS, the Flood Insurance Rate Maps and Flood Insurance Study for r¢ panels 615, 750, and 975 of 1075 in Weld County, Colorado, recorded at `; Bk 901/182287; Bk 901/1822888; and Bk 901/1822901, respectively and referenced w c cc in Section 53.4.2 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No. 89, are in need of revision pursuant to Section 22 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance No. 89, and WHEREAS, said revision is necessary prior to March 28, 1983, in that the modified flood elevations on Panels 615, 750, and 975 of 1075 of the Flood Insurance Rate Map and the Flood Insurance Study for Weld County, Colorado, must be adopted by the Board of County Commissioners by March 28, 1983 in order to meet certain requirements of the Natural Flood Plain Insurance Program, and therefore, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County hereby finds and determines that the necessity of enacting this Ordinance No. 89-D prior to March 28, 1983, constitutes an emergency under the provisions of Section 3-14 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that said Ordinance No. 89 is amended by the revisions to panels 615, 750, and 975 of 1075 of the Flood Insurance Rate Map 830711 and the Flood Insurance Study for Weld County, Colorado, copies of which are attached hereto as Exhibits "A", "B", and "C" and incorporated herein by this reference. Mr. Oxenfeld read into the record the favorable recommendation from the Weld County Planning Commission to amend Section 53.4.2 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance for panels 615, 750 and 975 of 1075 in Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Section 22 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance. There were no comments, either in favor of or in objection to, the amendments as presented. After discussion, Commissioner N. Carlson moved to approve the amendments as presented. Commissioner Brantner seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. Mr. Anson read emergency Ordi- nance #89-D into the record. Commissioner N.
