RE: GRANT REQUEST OF THE WELD COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE FOR CON-
VERSION OF PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Sheriff ' s Office has presented a
list of property held by their office which is unclaimed, abandoned,
or lost, and for which a reasonable inquiry has been made to iden-
tify and notify the rightful owner. Despite such efforts , the
rightful owners cannot be identified or located, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 28 , the Weld County
Sheriff has requested official conversion of the=property described
in Exhibit "A" , which is attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference, for use by the Weld County Sheriff' s Office to
carry out normal duties and responsibilities, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
to grant said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of the Weld
County Sheriff' s Office for conversion of the property listed in
Exhibit "A" for use by the Weld County Sheriff ' s Office to carry
out normal duties and responsibilities be, and hereby is, granted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 16th day of
June, A.D. , 1982. -/'
