LONG TO CERTAIN ADVISORY BOARDS WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS,Commissioner David E.Long has been assigned to Coordinate the Department of Finance, Purchasing, and Personnel, and WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Commissioner Long be appointed to represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards: 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board Regional Communications Advisory Board Coroner/Medical Examiner Oversight Committee Criminal Justice Advisory Committee (regular member) Upstate Colorado Economic Development Board WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Long to said boards, with his term on each board to expire December 31, 2007. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,Colorado,that Commissioner David E. Long be,and hereby is,appointed to the above listed boards, with his term on each board to expire December 31, 2007. The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by the following vote on the 3rd day of January, A.D., 2007.
