RE: HEARING TO OBTAIN PUBLIC INPUT REGARDING CHANGING THE BOUNDARY
LINES OF COMMISSIONER DISTRICTS IN WELD COUNTY, COLORADO
A public hearing was conducted on May 23, 2007, at 9:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner David E. Long, Chair
Commissioner William H. Jerke, Pro-Tem
Commissioner William F. Garcia
Commissioner Robert D. Masden
Commissioner Douglas Rademacher
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Jennifer VanEgdom
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated May 11, 2007, and duly published May 16, 2007, in
the Fort Lupton Press,a public hearing was conducted to obtain public input regarding changing the
boundary lines of Commissioner Districts in Weld County, Colorado. Bruce Barker, County
Attorney,made this a matter of record. He stated a list of the proposed changes to be made for the
redistricting is depicted in Exhibit A,and a map, as depicted in Exhibit B,clarifies the boundaries of
the precincts to be modified with the redistricting. He stated the revisions will be made to precincts
within the City of Greeley. He further stated pursuant to State law, a public hearing for testimony
must be held at least 30 days prior to the acceptance of the Resolution. He further stated the
Resolution will be considered on June 25, 2007, at 9:00 a.m.
No public input was provided concerning this matter.
Chair Long adjourned the hearing at 9:35 a.m., since no action is required of the Board.

The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,Colorado,will consider changing the
boundary lines of Commissioner Districts in Weld County Colorado, and wishes to hold a public
hearing to receive input from the public regarding this matter. The hearing will be held on
Wednesday, May 23,2007,at 9:00 a.m.,in the Chambers of the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado,Weld County Centennial Center,915 10th Street, First Floor, Greeley,
Colorado, at the time specified.
A copy of the map showing the proposed Commissioner Districts Weld may be examined
in the office of the Clerk to the Board, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631. Written
comments are also welcome and must be received prior to May 23,2007, in the office of the Clerk
to the Board, P.O. Box 758, Greeley, Colorado 80632. To ensure inclusion of E-Mail
