respectfully shows that the taxes assessed against your petitioner for the years A. D. 19 82,
19 , 19 , are erroneous or illegal for the following reasons, viz:
(Give full particulars as to wherein the error or illegality lies.)
Total assessed valuation upon which the 1982 taxes were based erroneously
included oil sales under an Amoco interest. Nielson Enterprises Inc. , as
operator of the wells, sells all oil production and in turn, pays Amoco
for its oil interest. The oil sales as shown on the 1982 declaration
schedule under Nielson Enterprises Inc. represent the total oil sales
from the wells. As a result, oil sales are overstated by $305,259.95,
overassessed by $267,102.46 and overtaxes by $21,703.45 ($267,102.46 x
.081255) .
