The denial is based on the sale amount of like or similar properties which sold during the 2005/2006 time period. One must realize all the homes in this area are custom homes that are built to owner's specifications. To base the evaluation on square footage is erroneous. Our home is a modest home built for our retirement and does not include many of the amenities found in most custom homes or homes with this square footage. The appraiser's evaluation will verify this. 2. This property received a complete appraisal at some period AFTER May 4, 2006. At that time the appraised value was set for 2006 values of$509, 000. We are in agreement with this appraisal. There should be NO adjustment to the 2006 evaluation since the property received a complete appraisal in MID 2006.
