RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO EXTENSION ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Extension Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Joe Intermill be appointed to said board as the
Agriculture/Natural Resources representative, to replace William Weitzel, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Janet Johnson be appointed to said board as
an additional Family and Consumer Science representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Joe Intermill and Janet Johnson to
said board, with terms to expire February 1, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Joe Intermill and Janet Johnson be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Extension Advisory Board, with terms to expire February 1, 2010.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 26th day of November, A.D., 2007.
