RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO EXTENSION ADVISORY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Extension Advisory Council has increased the number of members able
to serve on the Council from ten to fourteen, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Michael Freeman and William Weitzel be
appointed to said board as Agricultural and Natural Resources representatives, and that Diane
Holmberg be appointed to said board as a Family and Consumer Sciences representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Michael Freeman to said board with
a term to expire February 1, 2008, William Weitzel to said board with a term to expire
February 1, 2010, and Diane Holmberg with a term to expire February 1, 2009, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Michael Freeman, William Weitzel, and Diane Holmberg, be, and hereby
are appointed to the Extension Advisory Council, with terms to expire February 1, 2008,
February 1, 2010, and February 1, 2009, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 18th day of June, A.D., 2007.
