HomeMy WebLinkAbout20073758.tiff RESOLUTION TO SET MILL LEVY A RESOLUTION LEVYING GENERAL PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE 2008 BUDGET YEAR TO HELP DEFRAY THE COSTS OF GOVERNMENT FOR THE WELD COUNTY PIONEER COMMUNITY LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY LOCATED IN WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners,of Weld County,Colorado,ex-officio Weld County Pioneer Community Law Enforcement Authority Board has adopted the annual budget in accordance with the Local Government Budget Law, on December 12, 2007, and WHEREAS, the amount of money necessary to balance the budget or general operating expenses is $7,890, and WHEREAS, the 2007 valuation for assessment for the Weld County Pioneer Community Law Enforcement Authority District, as certified by the County Assessor, is $1,127,160. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners,ex-officio Weld County Pioneer Community Law Enforcement Authority Board: Section 1. That, for the purpose of meeting all general operating expenses of the Weld County Pioneer Community Law Enforcement Authority District during the 2008 budget year,there is hereby levied a tax of 7.0 mills upon each dollar of the total valuation for assessment of all taxable property within the District for the year 2007. Section 2.
