Box 626 Mead, CO 80542 RE: Town of Mead Wastewater Treatment Plant Site Application for the Construction of a New Wastewater Treatment Facility—Status Update Dear Mr. Wright: The purpose of this letter is to provide the Town with an update on the status of the above-described site application. 1.0 Consolidation Analysis Issues The Division has reviewed the Town's February 14, 2007-dated response letter submission. Based on the results of the review work, it has been determined that the consolidation analysis information included in the original Site Application and the February 14 letter was not completed in accordance with the requirements of the Site Location and Design Approval Regulations for Domestic Wastewater Treatment Works (Regulation 22) Sections 22.3(1)(c)and 22.4(1)(b)(ii, v) and Water Quality Site Application Policy 5. Additionally, the capital cost information provided for the consolidation analysis does not equally address the entire 208 service area for the two options that are identified in the original submittal. A tabular summary of the eight factors required by Policy 5, as indicated on the next page, may be beneficial as it would provide a clear means for presentation of the necessary information. Please refer to Policy 5 for specific information regarding each factor.
