RE: APPROVE VACATION OF USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#493-ELAINE STUART
AND LARRY SPEER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated September 15, 1982, the Board approved Use by Special
Review Permit#493 for a Dog Kennel and Breeding Facility for Joseph and Donna Streit on the
following described real estate, to-wit:
Lot 7, Block 66, Aristocrat Ranchettes Subdivision,
Second Filing; being part of the SW 1/4 of Section 27,
Township 2 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M.,
Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the current property owners, Elaine
Stuart and Larry Speer, 15163 Barley Avenue, Fort Lupton, Colorado 80621, to vacate said Use
by Special Review Permit#493, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and statements
of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of the Department
of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this matter and, having
been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Use by Special Review Permit#493 be, and hereby is, vacated.

SUBJECT: Vacation of USR-493
Elaine Stuart and Larry Speer, current owners, have requested a vacation of Use by Special
Review Permit, USR-493, for a dog kennel.
This permit was approved by the Weld County Planning Commission on September 15, 1982.
The site has a legal description of Lot 7, Block 66, 2n° Filing Aristocrat Ranchettes; in part of the
SW4 of Section 27, Township 2 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado.
The Department of Planning Services, on behalf of the applicant, is recommending this land
use permit to be vacated. The letter requesting vacation of USR-493 is attached.
