RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE VACATION OF USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#1134-SHIRLEY OLIN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated January 15, 1997, the Board approved Use by Special
Review Permit#1134 for a 130-foot monopole radio communication tower and equipment structure
in the A(Agricultural)Zone District,for Western Wireless, do Don Sizemore,2323 Delgany Street,
Denver, Colorado 80216, on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Part of the SE1/4 of Section 17, Township 3 North,
Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS,the Board has received a request from the current property owner,Shirley Olin,
13487 Weld County Road 32, Platteville, Colorado 80651, to vacate said Use by Special Review
Permit#1134, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and statements
of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of the Department
of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this matter and, having
been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Use by Special Review Permit#1134 be, and hereby is, vacated.

SUBJECT: Vacation of USR-1134
March 26, 2007
Shirley Olin has requested a vacation of Use by Special Review Permit, USR-1134, for a 130-
foot monopole radio communication tower and equipment structure located approximately 1
mile east of State Highway 85 and north of and adjacent to County Road 32.
This permit was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on January 15, 1997 for Ray
and Shirley Olin.
The site is located in part of the Southeast quarter of Section 17, Township 3 North, Range 66
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado.
The Department of Planning Services, on behalf of Shirley Olin, the property owner, is
recommending this land use permit to be vacated. The letter requesting vacation of USR-1134
is attached.
