RE: APPROVE PETITION FOR ABATEMENT OR REFUND OF TAXES-PREMIUM SOURCE
AG, LLC
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, State of Colorado, at a
duly and lawfully called regular meeting held on the 7th day of May, 2007, at which meeting there
were present the following members: Chair David E. Long, and Commissioners William H. Jerke,
William F. Garcia, Robert D. Masden, and Douglas Rademacher, and
WHEREAS, notice of such meeting and an opportunity to be present has been given to the
taxpayer and the Assessor of said County, with said Assessor, Christopher Woodruff, being
present, and taxpayer Premium Source AG, LLC, not being present, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have carefully considered the attached
petition, and are fully advised in relation thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Board concurs with the recommendation of the assessor and the
petition be and hereby is, approved, and an abatement or refund be allowed as follows:

Reference: Reply to taxes assessed against Premium Source for property tax year 2005.
Correct Name of Entity
1. In April of 2001 Diamond Hill Ag LLC was dissolved and the assets and on going
business was picked up by Premium Source AG, LLC.
Justification for refund on assessed taxes for 2005
2. In January of 2005 Premium Source made the decision to relocate its general business
office and farming operation to Garden City, Kansas. Between January and March of
2005 assets were moved to Garden City. In April of 05 the office was closed in Lucerne.
The schedule of equipment listed on the declaration and the schedule of equipment attached had
either been determined by Premium Source to either have zero value or had been transferred to
the new location in Garden City, Ks with exception to a few items which were stored on the
property until such time there was a needed for the in Kansas operation.
Enclosed is a check in the amount of$4,327.92. This represents payment as stated on the
Statement of Taxes due.
Also enclosed is a schedule of the assets currently stored on the property. Please give
consideration to lowering and or forgiving the Tax assessed.

This is to advise you that the Weld County Board of Commissioners will hear your petition for
abatement or refund of taxes on the property described as: 19009 Highway 392, Lucerne,
Colorado, 80646. The meeting is scheduled for May 7, 2007, at 9:00 a.m., in the First Floor
Meeting Room, Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado.
The Assessor is recommending that the Board approve your petition. You are not required to be
present at this hearing, however, this is your opportunity to have your position heard, especially if
your position is opposed to the Assessor's recommendation. If you intend to submit any
documentation in support of your position for this hearing, all such documentation must be
submitted to the Office of the Clerk to the Board and to the Weld County Assessor's Office at least
seven calendar days prior to the meeting date in order for it to be considered at the scheduled
hearing.
