USR-1566 • SITE PLAN • At the Bunyan site,Renewable Fiber,Inc. (RFI) operates a wood landscape mulch reload site. All stored products are wood barks and wood mulch. Here the product is unloaded from Great Western Rail Road supplied rail cars and stored in outside storage piles according to product type. The material is reloaded on to truck transportation for delivery to customers as needed. Piles will average approximately 20' in height,with an average angle of repose equal to approximately 45 degrees. Occasionally the Gold Cedar pile will be piled approximately 35 feet high. This pile will be located on the southern area of the site. Pile separation is targeted to be 20 feet. An access drive on the parameter separating the piles from the outline property line is maintained. There will be no exact pile type or location due to the continuing variance of pile volume and turnover of product. See attached map. The normal hours of operation are.8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday;not to exceed 6 AM to 6 PM,Monday through Saturday. The buildings located on site consist of a small two room office,portable supply storage shed and a portable toilet. The storage shed will contain engine and hydraulic oil in 55 gallon drums,normally one drum each. A portable acetylene torch unit with standard full size bottles is also stored in the storage shed A 2,000 gallon above ground storage tank, (permit#OFL 4853 FM 18248, 4/10/07), for off-road diesel is located on the site. The tank is placed inside a concrete spill prevention container and located in the area of the office and storage shed. EMERGENCY PREVENTION EQUIPMENT FIRES. Site equipment is scheduled for pressure wash every two weeks or additional as needed. NO SMOKING rule is in effect at all times except in designated area. WEED AND GRASS control targets elimination of fire hazard areas. GREAT WESTERN RAIL ROAD track areas are monitored for train caused fires. BAZARDUS FUEL SPILLS.
