HOUSING AUTHORITY
WELD COUNTY, COLORADO
NOVEMBER 26, 2007
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular session as the Housing
Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in
the Weld County Centennial Center, Greeley, Colorado, November 26, 2007, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chair and on roll call the following members were
present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof:
Commissioner David E. Long, Chair
Commissioner William H. Jerke, Pro-Tem
Commissioner William F. Garcia
Commissioner Robert D. Masden
Commissioner Douglas Rademacher
Also present:
Assistant County Attorney, Cyndy Giauque
Acting Clerk to the Board, Elizabeth Strong
Controller, Barb Connolly
MINUTES: Commissioner Jerke moved to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority Board meeting
of October 22, 2007, as printed. Commissioner Rademacher seconded the motion, and it carried
unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS:
CONSIDER 2008 BUDGET: Tom Texiera, Director of Greeley-Weld County Housing Authority,stated this
is the projected budget for the 2008 Fiscal Calendar Year, and nearly all of the funds are received directly
from the federal government. Mr. Texiera stated there has not been a funding bill passed for 2008;
therefore, he will present the final figures to the Board in early 2008. He stated the tentative amount for
Section 8 is $2,591,171.00, and the projected amount for administrative funding is $229,598.00.
Commissioner Garcia moved to approve the 2008 Budget. Seconded by Commissioner Rademacher,the
motion carried unanimously.
Let the minutes reflect that the above and foregoing actions were attested to and respectfully submitted
by the Acting Clerk to the Board.
