RE: DENY MOBILE HOME PERMIT NO. 885 - TERRY AND TINA MAXWELL
WHEREAS , the Board of County Conunissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners on the 6th day
of June, 1984, considered the request of Terry and Tina Maxwell
to place one mobile home to be used as a principal dwelling, and
to be occupied in an A-Agricultural Zone District on a parcel of
land more particularly described as follows :
Lot A Recorded Exemption 617, located in
Part of the 3W4, Section 17 , Township 5
North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. ,
Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners having heard
the testimony, finds that said request should be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of Terry
and Tina Maxwell to place a mobile home to be used as a principal
dwelling on the hereinabove described parcel of land be, and
hereby is , denied.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of
June, A.D. , 1984.

Location: Two (2) miles west of Greeley City limits, north of WCR 56 and east
of WCR 27
The Department of Planning Services staff has reviewed this request and
recommends that the request be denied for the reasons:

X Be compatible with the surrounding area
X Be in harmony with the character of the neighborhood
X Adversely affect the immediate area
X Be adequately served by water and sewage disposal
facilities
X Adversely affect the general health, safety and

COMMENTS:
The Department of Planning Services has received one objection regarding this
application.

We the undersigned and land owners "object" to the zoning permit
of a mobile home for Terry and Tina Maxwell at PT . SW 1/4 sec . 17 , T .
5n , Rt . 66w.
We feel that the best interest for us as land owners and for the
county is not to allow mobile homes to be brought into this area . If
one is allowed then there are usually more to follow.
We feel that we have a high quality area and we would like to
keep it that way . With the trend of the city of Greeley moving west
we feel that they too would like to maintain these high quality areas .
We thank you for our concerns and we ask that the permit in
question not be allowed .

subject site slopes to the east and north. One small residence is adjacent
to the site. There are 6 newly constructued very large and expensive homes
within a half mile of the subject site. There are no improvements on the subject
site.

We have done research into having a fresh water well dug for
our own personal use. Our findings have been that water is
not readily available. For this reason alone, we have decided
to go with a cistern. The cistern we have decided on will have
a capacity of 1500 gallons . Our water will be delivered to us
by a delivery service in Greeley.

From the application Information supplied and the on-site soil percolation data, the following minimum installation specifi-
cations are required:

In addition, this Permit is subject to the following additional terms and conditions:
This Permit is granted temporarily to allow construction to commence.This Permit may be revoked or suspended by the Weld
County Health Department for reasons set forth in the Weld County Individual Sewage Disposal System Regulations, including
failure to meet any term or condition imposed thereon during temporary or final approval. The issuance of this Permit does not
constitute assumption by the Department or its employees of liability for the/' or i failure or inadequacy of the sewage disposal system.
Environmental Specialist ate
This Permit is not transferrable and shall become void if system construction has not commenced within one year of its issuance.
Before issuing final approval of this Permit the Weld County Health Department reserves the right to impose additional terms
and conditions required to meet our regulations on a continuing basis. Final Permit approval is contingent upon the final in-
spection of the completed system by the Weld County Health Department.

The issuance of this Permit does not imply compliance with other state, county or local regulatory or building requirements,
nor shall it act to certify that the subject system will operate in compliance with applicable state, county and local regulations
adopted pursuant to Article 10, Title 25, CRS 1973, as amended, except for the purposes of establishing final approval of an
installed system for issuance of a local occupancy permit pursuant to CRS 1973 25.10.111 (2).
