RE: HEARING TO ALLOW CITIZENS TO REVIEW AND COMMENT ON THE PERFORMANCE
OF THE COUNTY OF WELD IN CARRYING OUT THE ACQUISITION OF PROJECT
RELATED FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT TO BE CONSTRUCTED AT THE NORTH
RANGE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH FACILITY
A public hearing was conducted on December 26, 2007, at 9:00 a.m., with the following present:

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated December 7, 2007, and duly published December
12, 2007, in the Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted to allow citizens to review and
comment on the performance of the County of Weld in carrying out the acquisition of project
related furniture and equipment to be constructed at the North Range Behavioral Health facility.
Bruce Barker, County Attorney, made this a matter of record.
Barb Connolly, Controller, stated the Community Development Block Grant funds were utilized to
purchase a security system, telephone system, and window treatments for the North Range
Behavioral Health facility, and she clarified the project is now complete. She stated the grant
process requires the Board of County Commissioners to conduct a public hearing to allow public
comment on Weld County's performance in carrying out the project.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter. Mr. Barker stated no action is required
by the Board.
There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 9:45 a.m.

The County of Weld will conduct a public hearing at 9:00 a.m., on Wednesday,
December 26, 2007, in the Chambers of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, First Floor, Greeley, Colorado. The
purpose of the hearing is to allow citizens to review and comment on the performance of the
County of Weld in carrying out the acquisition of project related furniture and equipment to be
constructed at the North Range Behavioral Health facility, which were financed with federal
Community Development Block Grant funds provided by the State of Colorado.
Written comments are also welcome and must be received by December 19, 2007, in the
office of the Clerk to the Board, 915 10th Street, P.O. Box 758, Greeley, Colorado 80632.
Information and records regarding the above described project are available at the office of the
Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, located in the Weld County Centennial Center,
915 10th Street, Third Floor, Greeley, Colorado, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Advance notice is requested.
