RE: GRANT MOBILE HOME PERMIT NO. 705 - ALBERT D. KURTZ
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado on the 2nd day of March, 1983, considered the request
of Albert D. Kurtz for a mobile home to be used as a principal
dwelling on the parcel of land, which is to be occupied in an
A-Agricultural Zone District, more particularly described as
follows:
Part of the SE4 SW4, Section 21 , T3N, R67W
of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, having heard
the testimony, finds that said request should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of Albert
D. Kurtz for permission to place a mobile home, to be used as a
principal dwelling, on the above described parcel of land, which
was found to be in compliance with the Weld County Zoning Ordinance,
Section 43, be, and hereby is, granted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 2nd day of
March, A.D. , 1983 .

Zoning Permit for Mobile Home
Gentlemen:
I am enclosing with this letter the application of Albert D. Kurtz for a
Mobile Home Zoning Permit, attached to which are my firm check in the amount
of $40.00 to cover the application fee, a sketch plan of the mobile home lo-
cation, my affidavit indicating that the only owner of property within 500
feet of the mobile home site other than the applicant is the Great Western
Sugar Company and a copy of the Deed by which Mr. Kurtz acquired ownership
of the parcel on which the mobile home is located.
Mr. Kurtz purchased the mobile home site from Leo B. Asmussen and Christena
Asmussen on May 5, 1969. At the time of the purchase, there was a mobile
home and an old building, formerly the Gowanda Store, on the property. Mr.
Kurtz demolished the Gowanda Store building and used the mobile home, either
for farm employees or as a rental unit, thereafter. Several years ago, the
mobile home was vandalized to the point of total loss. At that time the
wreckage was removed and the present mobile home was moved onto the property.
Since that time the mobile home has been used for employees as needed, and
when not required for that purpose has either remained vacant or been rented.
At the present time the mobile home is vacant. In the future Mr. Kurtz would
anticipate continuation of the use of the mobile home for employee housing,
when needed, and when not, would attempt to rent it for residential use.
As I have indicated, there has been a residential building and/or a mobile
home on the property almost continuously since long before Mr. Kurtz acquired
the property. The premises are currently in a clean and orderly condition
and will continue to be as long as Mr. Kurtz is the owner. We therefore re-
quest that the requested zoning permit be issued.
