RE: APPOINTMENT OF CHRIS MATSON TO PLACEMENT ALTERNATIVES COMMISSION
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Placement Alterna-
tives Commission due to the resignation of John Michaels, and
WHEREAS, the Placement Alternatives Commission has recom-
mended that the Board appoint Chris Matson, Chief of Police for
the Windsor Police Department, to serve on said Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Chris Matson be, and
hereby is, appointed to serve on the Placement Alternatives
Commission.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of
September, A.D. , 1982 .

RE: Placement Alternatives
Commission Appointment
Dear Mr. Martin:
As Chairman of the Weld County Placement Alternatives Commission I am
requesting that the Board of County Commissioners appoint Chris Matson
to replace John Michaels on the PAC.
Mr. Michaels has resigned due to changes in duties within the Windsor
Police Department. Mr. Matson has indicated a willingness to assume
the responsibilities of being a Commission member. Mr. Matson is the
Chief of Police for the Windsor Police Department and has been a
foster parent for the Department of Social Services.
